Good Afternoon Dilley ISD Community!
Once again our Dilley ISD School Board Members have approved the purchase of school supplies for all students that attend Dilley ISD for the 2023-2024 School Year! No additional school supplies will need to be bought by the parents. The only item that will NOT be purchased by the district will be backpacks.
Please note: The district has decided to follow last years protocol and only allow clear or see-through backpacks.
Here are some FAQ that you may have, If you have any other questions, please contact the Administration Building at (830) 965-1912.
Clear/Mesh Backpack FAQ
1. Will small pouches/bags be allowed in the student’s clear/mesh backpack?
Small pouches/bags will be allowed for feminine products.
2. Will students be allowed to carry a lunchbox/lunch bag?
Yes, students will be allowed to carry a lunchbox/lunch bag.
(Does not have to be clear)
3. Will there be assistance to help families obtain a clear/mesh backpack?
Yes, families will need to contact the campus to be put on a list.
4. Do faculty/staff need to have a clear/mesh backpack?
No, faculty/staff will not need to have a clear/mesh backpack.
5. Is the school going to provide refunds to families who have purchased
backpack/book bags for the 2023-2024 school year.
Dilley ISD will not be providing monetary compensation for backpacks previously
purchased.
6. Who do I contact if my family is facing hardship and needs assistance with fulfilling
this requirement?
Contact your student’s campus and speak to your campus administrator.
7. Can the school please provide pictures of acceptable backpacks?


Area Leadership Camp was a blast! For the last couple of days these Dilley FFA Officers (Madelyne Proctor, Brazos Viesca, Raegan Furnace, Izabella Proctor) were able to learn and practice leadership skills and make new friends along the way!

Out of town summer school route is running late. Bus will still be picking up this morning.

Help Dilley FFA with their service project!
All seeds can be dropped off with a 23-24 Officer or at the High School with Ms. Gatton.
Have a happy summer!


Please be aware that the summer school bus route will be operating the same route as it was during the school year.
Please have your children at the usual bus stop location by 7:30 for in town pickup and 7:20 for out of town pickup. Thank you.
