We had 8 students earn a seat in the Association of Texas Small School Bands (ATSSB) All Region Band. There were close to 400 students competing for a seat in the band.
Out of these 8 students, 7 of them placed high enough to make the Area Band!
They will be competing in Alice on Jan. 8 for a seat in the All State Band.

DHS Band students at the ATSSB All Region and Area Band:
Klaudya Garcia, Alexis Valdez, Alejandro Alvarez, Saul Gauna, Jerik Trevino, Daniel Kelley, Billy Hernandez and Sean Kelley will be performing in the Region 11 Band Concert at 2:00 pm this Saturday, in the Pleasanton High School Auditorium. The concert is free to the public. Come show support of these fine musicians!
On January 7 & 8 , the students will go to the Area Band Competition in Alice and audition for a seat in the All State Band.

The Dilley Bands will host their Christmas Concert on Wednesday, Dec. 8, beginning at 5:30, in the HS Gym. Come listen to the sounds of the holiday season!
During the concert, the Dilley Band Boosters will be hosting a Silent Auction consisting of crafts, gift certificates and other goodies.
The Dilley Band Boosters will meet Monday, Dec. 6, at 5 pm, in the band hall.
