I was born and raised in Uvalde, Texas. After graduating from college, I returned to my hometown to teach for 15 years. In 2016, my family and I moved to our family ranch in the area.  My husband, Bren, is a rancher on the Shiner Ranch.  We have three daughters: a senior, a sophomore, and a second grader.  Most of our evenings are spent at practices, games, or any other activity our girls are involved in.
