Dilley ISD would like to wish all DISD teachers and those in other districts a Happy Teacher Appreciation Week. Through this difficult time, you have adapted to new ways of educating students, and the work you do has not gone unnoticed. Keep up the good work and finish strong!

Dilley ISD Parents and Staff:
By staying apart for the time being, Dilley ISD is working to ensure that we are limiting the spread of COVID-19 in our community. In service of this, I want to share a one-minute video that reminds us of the most important actions we can take as individuals to reduce risk for ourselves and others:
• Practice social distancing
• Wash your hands
• Stay home as much as you can, especially if you have a cough, fever, or shortness of breath
I encourage you to watch this video with your family. And be sure to share it with family and friends on social media and via email.

Even though we are currently apart, we look forward to coming back together as a community soon.
Sincerely,
Dr. Clint McLain
SUPERINTENDENT
Texas, remember the importance of social distancing. If you must go out, avoid public spaces and keep your distance from others (at least 6 feet). If we continue to follow valuable public health guidance, fewer of our friends & family will be affected by COVID-19. #StayHomeTexas
#StayHomeTexas

March and May SAT Administrations
In response to the rapidly evolving situation around the coronavirus (COVID-19), College Board is canceling the May 2, 2020 SAT administration. Makeup exams for the March 14 administration (scheduled for March 28) are also canceled.
Students who already registered for May, whose March test centers were closed, or who do not receive March scores because of any irregularities will receive refunds.
In the coming days, College Board will share additional information and details directly with registered students and test centers
As of today, Dilley ISD does not plan to close our schools following Spring Break. We continue to monitor developments relating to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Any decision to close schools would occur as part of a regional or statewide event based on guidance and information from the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), the Governors’ office, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Texas School Safety Consortium, and our school board. We will keep you updated on any new developments.
